Dovetail Games have been working hard to finalise their new fishing video game.
Their new fishing video game will feature real-world venues and British coarse fish and will be available soon on all platforms including Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The Catch: Carp & Coarse has being developed by Dovetail Games and will be released this summer.
Among the venues featured are Oxlease Lake on the Linear Fisheries complex in Oxfordshire and the River Ebro in Spain.
Dovetail Games are the company behind the previously released Euro Fishing and Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour, which included 3D models of St John’s and Manor Farm at Linear.
The game’s executive producer, Darren Potters has said: “For licensed and UK venues, we go to the venue, take hundreds of photos and videos, and get depth maps and underwater features from the lake owners.”
The new game will be featuring over 35 species including carp, rudd, eels, tench, pike, perch, bream and catfish, with 125 Boss Fish and 11 Monster Boss Fish, including Oxlease’s 50lb-plus Scar Common.
